Ongoing Monitoring Service (OMS) – for PE, PSV, and CBP Clients
MPR ensures full compliance with CMS regulation 42 CFR 455.436 by routinely monitoring all providers against state and federal databases. Through our Ongoing Monitoring System (OMS), we identify any exclusions or sanctions, and any confirmed findings are documented in our system and securely shared with the appropriate clients to support ongoing compliance and reduce risk.
Document Updates also proactively tracks and updates expirable provider documents through the MPR Credentialing Portal. We request and verify key credentials—including licenses, DEA/BNDD registrations, board certifications, liability insurance, and more—and upload verified updates to the Client Portal for easy access. A structured follow-up process ensures timely renewals, with documented outreach and escalation as needed.
Each month, clients receive a comprehensive report that includes any new exclusions or sanctions, providers enrolled in NPDB continuous query who require renewal, and a list of expired documents we will be actively pursuing in the upcoming month.
OMS Application Services
MPR’s Ongoing Monitoring System (OMS) includes comprehensive application management services to support providers in maintaining compliance while allowing them to focus on patient care. Our team handles the preparation, submission, and follow-up of a wide range of credentialing and regulatory applications on behalf of providers.
These services include initial applications and renewals for state medical licenses, DEA registrations, BNDD (where applicable), malpractice insurance enrollments, and Kansas Healthcare Stabilization Fund (HCSF) participation. MPR ensures that all documentation is accurate, submitted on time, and tracked through completion, reducing administrative burden and minimizing the risk of lapses in credentials.
With MPR’s OMS Application Services, providers and healthcare organizations can be confident in maintaining compliance with all applicable requirements while optimizing operational efficiency.
Credentialing By Proxy
When utilizing the Credentialing by Proxy (CBP) process, healthcare facilities often receive only limited information—typically a list of telemedicine providers and approved privilege forms from the distant site hospital or entity. The responsibility for enrolling these providers in the National Practitioner Data Bank’s (NPDB) Continuous Query and verifying active licensure in the facility’s state falls on the originating site.
MPR is here to take that burden off your team. We support facilities using CBP by managing provider enrollment in the NPDB, performing comprehensive electronic verifications, and ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations. Our services include checks through the OIG, SAM, state licensing boards, DEA, board certifications, NPI registry, certificate of insurance, and background screenings.
In alignment with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and 42 CFR §455.436(c)(2), we also provide monthly monitoring of exclusion databases such as the LEIE and SAM, as well as any other required databases prescribed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
With MPR, you’ll receive real-time alerts and proactive updates whenever a change or issue is identified in a provider’s credentials. Our end-to-end support ensures that your telemedicine providers remain compliant, credentialed, and ready to deliver care—so you can focus on what matters most: your patients.
