Effective January 1, 2025, Healthy Blue has been selected as one of the Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) to serve the Kansas Medicaid Program with KanCare. Healthy Blue will replace Aetna Better Health. The other two KanCare plans are Sunflower and United Healthcare.
Healthy Blue is a new collaboration between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS), Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC), and Anthem Partnership Holding Company (APHC). Healthy Blue was formed to align with the social mission to serve all Kansans, especially those most in need.
