Unlicensed Houston Man Arrested for Alleged Illegal Breast Surgeries at Houston Aesthetic Center

In a recent undercover operation, a Houston-area man, Alexander Padilla, 53, was arrested at the Houston Aesthetic Center for allegedly performing breast surgeries without a valid medical license. The arrest follows a sting operation conducted by the Houston Police Department after receiving a medical background check complaint from the Texas Medical Board.

Padilla faces a felony charge for practicing medicine without a license. Although released on bond, his conditions prohibit him from presenting himself as a licensed physician through any form of advertisement.

The Texas Medical Board revealed that Padilla has never been issued a medical license. Jarrett Schneider, a spokesperson for the board, stressed the importance of using official channels, such as their website, to verify a physician’s credentials before seeking medical services.

The arrest of Alexander Padilla highlights the risks associated with unlicensed medical practices. As the legal proceedings unfold, the case serves as a reminder for individuals to exercise caution and verify the credentials of healthcare providers through medical background check to ensure their safety and well-being.
