CareSource Insurance is Coming to Kansas in January 2023
CareSource is a new insurance company that intends to enter the Kansas Marketplace/Health Insurance Exchange market beginning January 1, 2023. They have also submitted a proposal to the KanCare program and hope to service Kansas Medicaid recipients if they receive a KanCare Award.
If approved, the go live date for Medicaid will be January 1, 2024. In order to participate with CareSource, a provider must register with Kansas Medicaid. CareSource is new to Kansas, but the company has a 30-year history of serving low-income and vulnerable populations across multiple states.
